Stewart W. Wilson – Has expertise in product design and manufacturing of industrial, medical and consumer photonics products & systems; with 28 years’ experience in the Laser Optics field and 24 plus industrial years’ experience in optoelectronic components, fiber optics and related; Has successfully introduced over 24 products to the market; Was a key team member that successfully obtained OTC FDA clearance for two home-use light-based consumer devices; Has successfully setup and implemented robust and cost-effective manufacturing for several products and for six different companies, including a consumer product that was released to the market in December 2010; Has co-founded two successful startup companies that manufacture high power laser diodes and photonic products; Has co/authored over 26 technical publications; has obtained 7 patents in optoelectronics and consumer products with several pending; Has been a co-recipient of a prestigious R&D100 award in 1999 for an optical modulator switch (OMS). Received both BSEE and MSEE from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD.
